Petals, blobs to 3mm long (M says 1-2) long, sprawling sto. now bear tufts of young ho, giving plant look of perennial. Remains of old seed pods, well formed pods on fl. races may not be developing normally. Real def. jointed pod v containing seed [illegible] (by Mr G.) Pell 5mm long (M) 2-25-39? Pectocarya F.L. Barrett Junction (Genus suggested by Mr. G, who says there are several Boraginaceae impossible to ident. w/o out fl.) Plants 1cm high, bearing 1 terminal fl. Sto. Capilary, Stigma with white hairs. hs to 5mm long. Corolla white 1-2mm diam. Corolla, calyx very correct. If P. jones, P. linearis, or P. pencillata A. DC. See J841;M420 2-25-39?
