8-8-39 #395 (See 3-6, 3-23 and 26-5-39). Inv ol greenish, rather pale (brownish smud-colored in bud an old age) not at all the def. purple of 3-6. I no "lucius" rather than "dull" s looks as tho they might be "glutinosa" tho they scarcely feel so, not esp. "bright" green done lo(esp. on branchlets) entire or nearly so but larger lo, def. toothed too' from tip to a below middle with teeth 2mm long. All h.s show def lateral veins when held against light but otherwise thereveins not at all conspicuous. Pappus bristles (20x) scabrous at tip. Dupl. strikes B.B.H as very like that, B. jourd earlier v she is still inclined to think all as the same v ptd. B. vininea DC.T1066; M536 tho poss of B. glutinosa Pers.T1066; M536 to be considered in all cases.
