Seems only poss. seeds in loc, w/folders margainless, incumbent. Pods erect, rigid, very spreading, to 10 cm long, valves 3-nerved (so that dry- ing pods is ridged. (Pods so rigid plants seem almost prickly - tho pod not sharp pointed - as one well among them.) Its almost if less now and some & pepper mat. its are simple v very narrowly limes; others have very short, inconspicuous linear lobes near base. 192. near base has broader lobes I like it ((G). Petals (dying when studied 6-11, 7 mm long def. yellow. (Mv & say they should be paler). As to M's key p 184, R.B.M. finds authors "sagitt- ate" def'to understand. Pod 1.5mm wide thick (M says less than 1 mm.) G's disc "hardly thicker than the short thickish pedicels" perfect. 6-6-39 Plantago erecta Morio T 956 - P. Northeriana F&M var. Californica Poe M488 F2 (See 3-9-39). With Anthemis, Plant 11 cm.
