The point of species is amazing. Not a hammer or damage was seen. (1) Day clear & warm with great much reflection of the sun on the white pavements. (2) Spent the morning in the gr. Parque Cousinaya. It is a really beautiful park large size with green variety of pines, oaks, pipper trees, eucalyptus, bamboo & flowers. Beneath the trees is a yard growing lawn carefully cut & watered. Even in the large wood slake country birds were few. On the afternoon I went to another large park, the Botanical Garden & Museum Natural. The place was labelled Distrito Normal. Many of the trees were very old or large size. Giant Sycamores, oaks, maples pines, elms & magnolias abounded. The museum was closed for 2 months. The park was almost as large as the Cousinaya. I learned afterward that the park attendants had allowed
