♀632, ♀1117
♀632 Red-White / Red-White
M 1 Red-White
♀1117 Red / LPink
Orange / LPink
The history here is a bit murky (see p. 2a); as far as
I can tell, ♀632 was definitely here through October 198
Most likely, she disappeared late in the winter (e.g. ~March '86).
In April 1986, ♀1117 appears to have moved in; this
was consistent with ♂1140 (her son) being conspicuous
at the nest at several of the watches.
The ♀ was conspicuous at the nest in May; following
this no one saw any ♀ here until I caught ♀632
here.
Assuming the above is more or less correct, the
status of the birds here now is questionable. ♂681 is a
breeder. ♂1140, however, is the son of ♀632 and thus
is (presumably) either still or once again a helper. The 1st
yr ♂, however, may or may not be "breeders", depending
on if ♀1117 was really their mother. (This includes
♂1222, ♂1225, and ♂1340.)
6 June I have now decided that, the evidence for ♀1117 having
ever been here being so poor, and, given that it just
doesn't make sense, I now believe that ♀1117 was
misidentified, and that ♀632 was here all along.
