Mon 12/1901 A & I and
I visited Verguts today.
Found a dead Swainson's
Hawk in the road.
The dairy eagles were
nesting in the gulch
where I found their
eggs hatching last
year. They had built
a new nest in a
scrub oak at head of
gulch. Contents two
large eggs - almost
fresh.
We had a perfect
day. Migrants noted-
Warbling Vireo - Ark Kingbird
Blu Flycatcher & War hawk
Sparrow.
