Went on campus 1 1/2 hrs (6:25-7:55AM)
Clear cold morning. Birds all very active.
Eng. Sparrows particularly shy. Only
succeeded in getting 1 shot and bagged
a F. Saw several small flocks, flying
high, cross over from city streets into
campus and back again: apparently
they move about quite a little. Bacon
Hall again the home of several.

- March 22 -
Went on campus 2 hrs. (6-8A.m).
Caught the ground thoroughly and only
succeeded in getting two shots, killing
1F which dropped in thick brush along
park bottom back of Harmon gym &
was lost. At least 6 of the Eng. Sp.
seen, were seen to fly upon the
campus from Telegraph ave. Others
were seen flying out, hence there
appears to be a more or less steady
movement back and forth.
