Hunted on campus 2 hrs. (6-8 AM)
made a pretty thorough survey went around
Culici St. Gate, Ag. Hall and our several routes.
The Eng. Sp. was back at Bacon Hall
but left as soon as I shot one.
An individual ahead of me was
able to pass within 40 ft. of 3 sparrows
which I could not approach, hence they
are able to recognize me.
Killed 4, 2♂ and 2♀ and wounded
1♂. Lost 1♂+1♀, but in 2.
The other species were in such
great numbers among the Olive
Trees near Ag. Hall that I was unable
to take a census of them.
