Hunted on campus 1/2 hrs. (6:25 AM -
7:55 A.M.) Shot & killed 7 Cuy. Sp.
Brought in 5 (3SS and 2 ?) Lost 2.
One in folw by Bacon Hall and
1 on roof of Bacon Hall, both SS.
Birds were quite wild this
morning. Have forced my nests
so far but 2 of the birds shot
this morning were in the act
of copulation so nesting season
is apparently close.
The nest under observation
off the campus is abandoned.
Probably a premature attempt.

Shot & killed 2 SS and 1?. Wounded 1?.
Birds shot near Power Plant and ? others
were stragglers from off the campus.
Almost impossible to shoot any of the
Bacon Hall Hacks.
