No photographic operations carried out for this period of time due to high winds, waves & spray and heavy rolls.
15 NOVEMBER 64
Sea very calm! Equipment set up on heli-deck at 0800 hrs. and it proved to be a most successful day!
Approximately 500 feet were shot on; two separate Shearwater sp., Frigatebird, R.-T. Tropicbird, Kennodie petrel (distant), Wedgetailed shearwater (short sequence), Sooty shearwater and an interrupted sequence on whole-boat pickup of sooty shearwater.
Mechanical difficulties were experienced with the camera stopping in the middle of sequences due to an apparent bad contact in a switch.
