and with more effective results. It should be kept in mind that it is necessary to shoot many feet of film, which possibly can never be fixed. Motion photo graphy, unlike stills, in which, wearily every shot can be planned before it is made. Likewise each new kind that comes along presents a slightly different situation making planning minimal and difficult. Immediately upon arrival in port the equipment was cleaned thoroughly and returned. The exposed film was delivered to KGB Television studios for processing. In the final film many scratches, developer stains, smog and finger prints will be noted along with a severe lack of contrast. These are all due to careless processing and result in an unpleasant imprinting feeling for this processor. No other nuclear processor is available in Hawaii. In the future film will be returned to Washington, D.C. where proper measures can be taken to ensure high quality results. F. Douglas Whitman
