Laysan Albatross 1710 --"Not positive but I think I saw a strongly
hooked beak. Black tail, wings, and back; rump white and head white,
white below. Flew low to H2O with few wing beats. Joined by masked
booby (imm.) but too far out by that time." CAE.

Sula dactylatra - FN0440 collected by Bob Fleet from YAG 39
at 1657. Female - ovary 14 by 5 mm.; weight 1894 gm. heavy fat.

Soft part colors - iris pale yellow. Bill pale yellow (grayish-white cae)
fading to gray (dark cae) at base. gular, flesh around eye and base of
bill dark gray. gape gray. legs and feet gray.
Molt -- wing feathers new; tail - 18 old; Λ8 - 1/2 full length. Small
amount of body molt.
