thorny vines. Nest typical,
of loose twig and thorn frame
and leaves. Bird flushed.

Nest: in a small thorny
bush at the edge of an open
cow pasture. Nest 6' up in the
main branch crotch of the
bush. Nest a little pod shaped,
very slightly cupped. A
leptotila [illegible] ventris, ful.
Buff-bellied Dove
few of the doves feathers
were on the nest. This nest
was within 50 feet of
another nest with a
single fresh egg. [nest taken].
