Nest. In a thorn brush in open low brush pasture, 9' up. Nest of twigs and leaves, rather loosely thrown together. Nest collected.

Nest. In a low tree near a stream course and on the side of a road. The nest was 11' up like the vine climbing on the tree. The nest was well cupped and made of grape or climbing vine twigs. The bird flushed at [nest taken] about 20' but stayed close by.
