(G) Measures very black - bedded, dense
colored shaly beds of dark blue color - 4.3.2 G
similar to 4.3.2 B but with more
common & with Halysites pre-
dominating rather than Favosites
These beds strike N. 54-57° W. and
dip 32° N.E., and are 32 feet
thick (modal of outcrop 60 ft.)
(H) Very dark red shuff, at first
sight loose, but showing occas-
ionally a quartz phenocryt, and
amber silicite fragments. The
Top strikes N. 56° W. and dips
32° N.E. . These form the main thug
may to 100 ft or more thick
