Halysites sp - occasional Favosites of hemisphere? common Chonetes nova-scoticus [corne]tus Leptostrophia common Stenosclisma pulchra abundant Wilsonia wilsoni abundant Spirifer Erispus [simplex?] small common Whitfieldella(?) or Hyatella sp {common in one seam} Orthoceras sp rare Trochoceras rare Horistoma sp occasional a few of the above were collected 4.3.2 B = 4.3.2 B . Strike N. 54-61° W. average strike N. 57° W. dip 30° N.E., (F) Covered 73 feet broad (G) Measures very black - bedded, dense colored shaly beds of dark blue color - 4.3.2 G similar to 4.3.2 B but with more common & with Halysites pre- dominating rather than Favosites These beds strike N. 54-57° W. and dip 32° N.E., and are 32 feet thick (modal of outcrop 60 ft.) (H) Very dark red shuff, at first sight loose, but showing occas- ionally a quartz phenocryt, and amber silicite fragments. The Top strikes N. 56° W. and dips 32° N.E. . These form the main thug may to 100 ft or more thick
