4.3.2
(A) Playlute gorpity turf forming the north prow of Hinchley Pt. The field upon plantypluts are very large & alms - at the mass is a grayish color.
(B) Covered 58 feet broad. At the top in one joint there crop out 3 feet of embedded gray shale containing sparsely Stenocistma of pulchra & ?Actinopterella sp.
(C) Over a width of 22 feet above crop out some shales which are similar to ?4.3.2.A² near the top but be - come gray-green, and gray reddish mottled lower down and discolored in the upper part small pea-sized rounded pellets of quartz. These shales are like 4.3.2.A¹ of 1907 and strike N.61°W. dip 32°N.E.
(B) Covered for a width of 52 ft
(C) Over a width of 115 ft above crop out 55 feet of blue calcarous - shaly massive dark bedded shale. The rock is of a dark blue color, very dense & hard fine grained and contains an abundance of fossils in various stages. The fossils
