This now appears to be recorded in sandstone shales, but on Burnet Creek on the S.1.2-3 line the red tuffs reappear & again on at S.E.5°51'.8 the south side of the little cove at which latter locality the red tuffs are overlain by some beds of bedded and stuff. striking N.20°W. dip 30°NE. These red tuffs are 50 feet thick and intervene between the lower tuffs & shales. purple
