73 5. 33. 8 Scales appear a little over 100 yds. w. f. south of the house of Mr. ____ and galbro formerly the hill to the north. The gables comes down to the shore and forms the west prong of the little point in s. e. corner of 5. 33. 8, and the galbro is continued into a long ledge reef along or on the C & G S. chart. The little corals between the two prongs shows no outcrop, except on the east side where 10 [illegible] ft. of sediment dep under silt ho N. 30° W. and dip 30° under a mass of very coarse galbro. The residuel breccy and distinctly coaly fine grained. The limestone scales are scattered in many seams of fossil. This zone appears to be the same as that occurring at the head of Douglity Cove in 5. 54. 6. the fauna include Lepetena rhomboidalis abundant Leptostrophia common Chonetes cornuta common Dalmanella 2 spp. common Stromatisma cf pulchra uncommon Wilsonia wiltoni occasional Spirifer crispus common S" ", elevata Atrypa reticularis occasional Actinoptarella hiants trans common A" reticularis. occasional Tollmannella danby rare
