All sightings of Bonaparte's Gulls were inside the Channel Islands. One flock of 23 appeared to be migrating. Sabine's Gulls were seen only outside the Channel Islands. On the north leg a single bird was seen, while on the south leg six were recorded. Terns Three unidentified terns were seen on the south track. Two were outside the islands, and one was on the inside. In Long Beach Harbor both Forster's and Least Terns were seen. Alcids The only non-grid alcids were two Rhinoceros Auklets on the south leg outside of the islands.
