REMARKS begin Observations 065 ca. of Scales Sky completely cloudy, obscurer but this morning is warmer than previous morning (0735) [illegible] = Small (10+) school of small flying fish) 0750 to 0800 NO Obs. BREAKFAST There been a rain squall on the horizon due south of us all morning. It seem to be moving in a westerly direction. I have felt a few scattered drops of light rain from time to time. 0936 STORM PETREL 1 NW (0923 = Small (30+) school of small flying fish) (0926 = second species of flying fish, 1 ca. 10" with definite red (rust) colored pectoral swimming fins) 0937 Leach Petrel 1 an H2O flew then satdown again 1005 Leach Petrel 1 [illegible] 1020 Shearwater/ or Petrel 1 E 1032 NO Observation Stopped for Oceanographic Station, type 14 central ca. 1215 - Crew members reported a TROPICBIRD that followed, circled ship, & departed during this time. 1345 (1515 = Small (30+) school of small flying fish) (1518 = " (15+)") 1603 NO Obs.
