Mr. Shephard's Apple Flats

I was much surprised
To see two sparrows
which to me seemed
nothing else but Sage
Sparrows. Of course I didn't happen
to have my gun but they
were certainly one of that
genre. The Lower valley
Big Turbuled chisels with
fir-white) and Duffey
Pine. We saw the Peaks
and part of the cliffs about
the Kings River Canyon.
They are certainly great. One
particular cliff covered well
above passes for Glacier.
In the afternoon our party came by
