Saturday Oct 25
We left about 9 o'clock
in Harkins car. It rained
all day and was rather
cold. Had dinner at
Rochester. Left by coach
about mid afternoon.
Got some provisions
at the depot and went
down to its house.
Alfred & family and
the Barretts came in
shortly before dark.
Had a fine supper
and went to bed.
I had to finish proof
on the paper and
it was late
