Oct 24 Friday. To Spawich & Coburn We left about 8:34 and drove up to Spawich went first to Dr Townsend's place, which is on a ridge overlooking the marshes of the Spawich. It rained hard until nearly about 10 o'clock, when we went over to the beach. Saw many birds about the bay and on the shore, Garnet common H Gull Common Red that doon Sandpiper BB Plume Song of Chukar Some of the party on Spawich Shore After the baked clam dinner we left and went to Wakefield and saw Alfred for a few minutes Then went over to Harry, where we spent this night
