Nov. 19. To Charleston We left Lake City and drove south, had a few miles muddy work at then crossed the Santic River on a long bridge on a causeway fell. The Santic is a broad muddy stream with steep banks or ramps of cypress All the county south of Lake City in full of Perhark man which festoons among the creek, cypress, pines, Oaks, many limonaks. It is excellent. Returning at adds a shark to the ramps which I have never seen surpassed with some pictures We got in to Charleston about 11:30, got located at 3 Lamboll St. and went out to get some dinner.
