Water bordered by extensive grove of pines, or "Water spiral out" probably referring to the broad lake. A sawmill at outlet of Darkhole Pine in 1850. Paquakete buried there dead in the Indian Mound south of Covewills River. This has been investigated and has been writen up in Granite State News date ? Benjamin Peeble lived on the road from Ossipe Corner to Dimmo Corner. according to the Cole 9 1802 he was assessed for 1 whole, 1 horse, 2 cows, 6 yearlings, 5 acres mowing, 1 acre tillage, 6 acres pasturing, & a wild land.
