Monday August 6 we got up rather late and were left at the house all day by rain In the late P.M. went out to the depot to market and drove down to Effingham afterwards Tuesday Aug 17 - It was still stormy in the forenoon. In the afternoon The Harralls went to town at 5. We went down to Freds They were away and we went down to the Mora field. Picked a few blueberries Spiraea salicifolia " tomentosa both in height & blooming in the pasture field on Free Lawn plat.
