Tuesday, March 5 Went out with Mr. [illegible] in the morning to feed the elk on the meadows. There were about [illegible] and they were with few exceptions in good shape. In the afternoon Mr. [illegible] and I went down to Leeks Place with W.H. Feebohm and [illegible] Ray McDougall and saw about 250 elk pick a few more on the south of the butte east of the valley, and also all the way along from Worthington to Leeks, and also a few on the East Grout Butte.
