Saturday June 12 It turned a little warmer and though it rained. Considerably, the day was much less disagreeable than yesterday. I took a few mammals and birds. Sunday June 13. Hired Moser Milt Cr The day was fine. Rest some long time and took a few specimens. Monday June 14 In the afternoon after clearing up more we put a pack on most the horses and made a trip up to la Pariyan on the side of Dondo Peak Mountain. We went over through brush here, nearly straight for the Mt. Near its base we dropped down into a canyon. Well wooded with Alder, Chang Aspen, Willow, Amelanchier etc. Mt. Mubigany grows on the Canyon walls and along the rimrock. We camped at 7000 feet bends a heavy growth of alder, some pohibola over 15 inches through. Set a line of traps in the willows & alders.
