after dawn I went up to the side of the canyon and went around on the mesa around the bends past the branches. Went to my Traps in the forenoon and made up specimens in the afternoon. Took 3 Thrombops Very small and differed from the valley species. Took a woodchuck, and saw another Friday June 8. Forest scatteredly We got away at 4.00 p.m. packing up and looking for what don't know commit on the west side of the valley When we camped about 6.00 p.m. Here a brook I'm to submit Creek flows northward up the valley. It is bordered by a thick growth of Willows. Shepherdia grows in groups in the valley flat
