Monday July 12 Shearley Left early and down eastward up Con Auck Valley. Ninth bivyp stopped at a ranch where a Boy Thomas McCann had a Collection of birds eggs certain Eggs, and many others. We had lunch beside a ranch home. Walk up the valley. Rough my trail now resting in the back of the Creek (morning) Coff Coon Creek before reaching Mt. head and turn north on the slip road 3 miles to Shearley P.O. (a home only). As this was with a good place to collect I left on down the valley of Pucker Creek about 5 miles and Camped in a ravine. Good Saw a Oregon Good squirrel New camp Tuesday July 13 Shearley Forth but better in my traps. Down down into the Canyon of Suchin Creek but found little of interest than I took a few birds, and shot traps. In the evening shot some bats, finding 2 - 7 different goura Just last night Wednesday July 14 Shearley Intended to move today, but with a Rutherford's so concluded to chek another day. Went up on Spring Mt. to the crest in the afternoon. There as many Canyon with a abundance of Small aspen, Cratagon Cilery, not mahogany etc. On the Top are several springs which from some meadows. Then a camp with young jack fly was seen. Saw a few Oregon Good squirrels on the Mt. Just last night
