Monday June 27. Jordan Valley The day was fine. Stook some specimens and made them up The man in whose field we acamped came over to the farmers Got some information about game etc from him. This was appointed with the county In Red Canyon 6.5 miles from Jordan Valley near Cutler's Army Post S. E. of the Dry Lake shore Mountain sheep have reported last fall Deer are occasionally seen. Jordan Valley. The Spring a doe and her two fawns were seen sometime in the field where we are camped. Mink are scarce Muskrat. a few along Creek Beaver are rather common a family or two living near our camp Otter. are on the Dry Lake north of Jordan Creek and a Boulder Creek a tributary of the Jordan 15 miles east (in Idaho) Coyotes are rather Common. Biscuits. 33 were caught at the Ranch 31 miles below in winter 1913-14 They are scarce about Jordan Valley Ampt Park he has taken on Boulder Creek Stink : Scarce Stalled Stink. Quite Common. He says that in all the country East of Jordan Butte (Boulder Creek 16700 feet). The rock Conis are common. He has also seen a few near Boulder Creek 15 miles east of here.
