Except in the valley where irrigated fields are the rule we saw no new feature of interest. Cattails, ongenus [illegible] at the ranch where we camped last night and is common all along the road. Forest today from even the valley broadens out as marshy spots become more frequent in which a few ditches, black currant and other birds were common. We camped a mile west of the town. Saturday June 26 Jordan Valley Drew on to town and both Poffree feeding some small. Then went out a short distance east of the town and camped in a sort of marlan beside the creek. Broad meadow a mile wide stretch in both direction along the valley. There are Tornard by some branches of the creek which are bordered with cherry by dense whitethorn, 7 million corns, and some alder Set out some traps.
