To Crooked Creek
We left early with a 35-mile
down ahead guns, without water
The road led Watrind along a
faulty falling pagodat plate,
we went some gravel banks
and passed several dry creeks
Mead a short stop at noon
by a hill. Then went on more
prairie country to south reach
of the P.R.S Co (Miller Flux)
Situated in a meadow found
by a huge strong other guns
one lot a good sized creek
a grove of cottonwoods 30 or 35-
gun set on his, and an
old sod house dated to be 35-
guns old. Shot a honey bat at sunset
Snipe and Phalacrocorax and
several ducks rest in the
meadow
To Owyhee R.
22 mile
Saturday June 19 Left early,
and went on in a general
E by N.E direction, following
a general way the valley
of Crooked Creek which was
on our right. Passed a
ranch (Anderson's) at seven
miles, a fine place with a
large grove of Cottonwoods
Then ascended and went
for several miles over a
flat mesa. Then down
through a canyon and creek,
Pattonchee Creek then own
a stretch of Barner said
Tules just Dry Creek and
down a beautiful Canyon with
faintly weathered cliffs on either side
and a sandstone rocks marked

Dec 17 1873 on do, free also white
man with late dates. Came out
of the Owyhee Pntp family,
Duncan's Ferry crossing
went up the Owyhee several miles
found a creek. Camped on
the west side of the river.
