Tuesday, Aug 11. About The middle of the afternoon the McCulloch (blue algae) came in from Cape Hatteras. From Brevard Bay, Judge Brown and his son got the boat, went down to St. Augustine. It's thought we might have to go down with him but for a period of time. Reynolds got a sight that we could be able to understand because the wind had not been the sets. In the meantime we had gotten well along with our fishing in the event of heavy storm tomorrow. Wednesday, Aug 12 Go the McCulloch so 5-7. In the morning we wrote letters and sent them off. The day was rainy and we burned ourselves with water and spent a good deal of time before a black hand Thursday, Aug 13. Wrote on notes in the afternoon In the afternoon we went out and shot a lot of Sandpipers. They came to the Dragon Reef to rest after feeding on the ledge plate!
