Tuesday Sept 21 Head Intelligency Through the day was not fine we concluded I hunt Mr. Cox. Peter went along the foot of the range down. The lake while Jordan T.S. went up the creek valley Auction common on Mt. Son Mt. Ash which the Sweeney call by a name which means move wood. Also we heard elk at The camp altitude 5,000 grizzly bear & elk butts cub paid by Indians to the 2 1/2 years old Struthers contains nothing but Impenetrable trees. After along been we went across the valley and walked as far as we dared along the mountains. Rain snow all the afternoon. Started back at 5 and came for breakfast. The necks of miles flamingos are beginning to show white Monday Sept 22. Camp at Tallulah Put on the day or specimen Luke & Jordan went with horses brought him skins + meat to camp A mid-afternoon Mr. Tan & Peter stood. No signs of sheep. Saw about a dozen goats
