Monday August 11. To Camp Bean River In the afternoon Mr Cross made a trip up on the ridge to the North Our camp but found nothing This afternoon we packed up and moved down from camp in the valley of Bean Creek I went ahead and collected some specimens left to the Creek rather late as the Rags had trouble with one of the Lovers at the creek crossing Call at 4000 feet Belita Populus balsamifera Ratius (white pt) Call at 3500 Elaeocarpus ? Vto Ribbered Alder 3000 Lepidogrypha Call 2800 ft Albee. Tuesday, Aug 12. To camp on Bean River 3 or more small frogs Walk down to Washburne and after taking our suppers left Then on went out to the top and camped 3 miles from Hwydall - or about half way To Bobine. Tongo?
