Joad Webber was up to Gero Winter from Feb 1 to middle of April Thinks 95% of the calves died Wolves killed many. There was a good proportion of spike Does not think there were more than 1000 above Jenkins More a list 7 dead calves on ridge below Brown Creek and Gero Pentice Only a very few old ones dead and no more will die except any old ones Partially at least 150 calves died on the Gero Pentice above Jenkins Ed Myers can put up 80 cows. Thinks there are 7 wolves on the upper Gero Pentice Ed Myers killed one Mr. Lyon Saw tracks of one Mr. Lyon on Brown Creek this winter Only one sheep seen on Crystal Plenty of deer watered on Brown Creek Ed Stearns caught 2 Lynx on Brown Creek Several Coyotes killed by Ed Stearns 30 or 40 killed by others before the bounty went off. Stearns caught 2 wolves on Crystal Creek Says there is a lone one at head of Grand Creek Party killed one sheep on Green River in the Canyon near de 3 Forks 15 miles from Leppinger Lake More a good many elk in the same region and some more.
