1910 Saturday May 28. Arrived at Buford , N. Dakota, about 7.30 and found Mr N. E. Anthony at the St Elmo Hotel. During the forenoon we made a trip over the hills to the N.E. of the town and made a search for Muerota and set some traps at the most likely looking holes. In the afternoon we went down to the river flats, where there is a broad wooded area between the Prairie and the river. The Principal trees are Elm and basswlder with a little ashy, Broad Leaved Caltmood, and a rather insuperant And in some places very dense undergrowth. 2 willows Rose, Crataegus, Symphoricarpos Cornus stolonifera. Sipyryraea argentea. We found Tepes americana to be fairly abundant within
