Fort McMurray at 11 A.M.
Scouts from A. Laidig not
yet arrived. Paid a visit
to the Settlement and to
the Camp of Count Van
Kleemasterin. Whose
Camp for oil a short
distance down the river
A place has been treated
an machinery partially set
up, but no work has yet
been done
Thursday Aug 11
Spent short of the from
the woods taking a number
of birds and some plants
Friday Aug 12 Took a number
of birds including morning
burner. which I found in
the rich woods on the island
Saturday Aug 13 Spent a part
of the day in the woods but
not very much work done.
Recorded. The day was very
lush with smoke from
forest fires somewhere to the
Eastward
Sunday Aug 14 Spent the day
quietly. Contemplated
The transport expects to start
tomorrow

left Fort McMurray shortly
