5 Stage Sep. 1 - As in previous stage. The lateral line was marked the skin somewhat less. Dorsales, white ringed L. 20 6 stage. Sept 5.- Mature larva. Bright pea green. Four whitish dorsal stripes of long outline. Faintly separated with an indistinct cuticle. Almost tubular, dorsally divided by a pair of whitish slightly suffused lines, continuous after connected, two strips lying either side the clear dark green median dorsal region. A finer brown line clearly marked S.d. (the outer s.d. Dorsal) line tinged w. yellowish. A clearly defined Stigmata band including slightly beyond the last spinal. Strid. green & poly. d. brownish yellow wings. Spiracles brown yellows oval black ringed. Set. tab. as before minute, not white ringed. Remainder of body clear green with a few whitish points and short streaks. Slow tap rapid. ant. Hradnale 35mm Cocoon of fine greyish brown silk very loosely spun in leaf.
