Orgyia definite Pack. Tufted as a "leucosigma". The long pencils black The posterior an sheathed with pale straw colored hair Wedge shaped dorsal tufts on 4-7 but not straight yellow - and, their tubules generally only the two middle ones, sometimes all more or less ringed with black the rings connected by a dorsal black band which runs post to the port pencil. These rings often reduced to mere crescent post the two middle tufts. Often tufts pale whitish or straw color. Dorsal band on 8-11 generally distinct distinctly with dull red blotches appears coney. The colored epithelium (leucosigma) but often almost entirely suffused or obliterated w. straw yellow. Body straw yellow to greenish yellow with more or less distinct green s.d. & distinct green s.d. & distinct green s.d. & distinct green s.d. Lower portion Right green to yellow green. Head 2 by straw color. Magazines July 20 - 30+ 2D - 16B 1/2 grams.
