Verte 22B (dorsal) The dorsal line runs thru all these and is edge more or less continuously & unwovenly w. same color. The upper subdorsal rows of tubercles lying at 4 are broadly edged with white. Head whitish w. 4 ant 2 post black patterns and a post sup, at Hack St. Tubercles Hack- 30 Jul 22— terminating all in a line A broad dorsal midrib brown band containing a rather fine midline defined central dorsal streak which is continued beyond 11 frames in brown. The o.d. white line sufficiently clear, partly containing the upper rows of tubercles which are large round polished & black smaller 2 less clear or 2,3,10. A very fine whitish stipulated streak. The remaining parts blue green w. black tubercles of varying size lying a few lain those of the last 22 post days (dorsally) very long. Patterns in band larger. 11hr. 45 Jul 25— (4) The larva did not flourish after this month and died without growing much. Seems to be delicate and need fresh air.
