Heliocampa gultivitta. Eggs light-bluish green. June 15—Naieted 27. Feeds on oak, apple, walnut. (Linalin) Dull red with an ill defined yellowish dorsal patch on 9-211. Two 4-branched spinous projections placed sub-dorsally on 1 and a subdorsal row of 2-jointed spines on Sy. 4 & Most posterior S.T. Each branch fine hairs at apex. 3 mm. 2° Stage. July 2. Dity reddish greenish yellow or faint red legs. A sub-dorsal greenish yellow line. All spines some except two points on s.d. 1. 8 mm. 3° Stage. Jul. 6. Yellowish green with red wings. A s.d. yellow and white band broken on 6 by a reddish mark running out to front pair of legs. A red mark runs diag. up and forward from toes 45 pair. Last pair of legs red. Various reddish marks dorsally. 3.15 segs. much mottled red. head greenish with a double red brown line from
