First Stage.
Not separable from supra except that
when removed from the black tubercles
much less distinct, viz. in orange.
Second Stage May.
Nº 7. Marasmalus vintilator.
Eggs laid on sumac. June 5. Cream color
soon changing to reddish by the appearance of
numerous reddish dots.
Hatched June 10.
Light green a dirty yellow green with black at.
tub. Front, black tapering hairs, 2 dorsal 2 o.d. and 2 p.
rows. Head jet black. Legs and prolegs blackish
at base. Frontal shield black. About 3 mm.
Legs normal 5 pairs 3 pspry.
