4th Stage June 1st- Much as before colors and contrasts more distinct. The larvae in this stage acquires the hue of the two posterior pairs of legs previously rudimentary. Specimens vary much in intensity of color some having the superior edging of the lateral line almost black. Black dots hardly visible rings broad. 5th Stage - June 5- Lateral, dorsal and sub. dorsal lines creamy yellow The first contrasting strongly with a black edge. Edges. Stigm. Tinged w. orange. Varies from almost black green above to light grass green. On each side the dorsal line are 3 contrasting white dots The middle one placed internally except on 1 (now) and 12 (1) or 223. The central dot is moved post. opposite the post ant. spot. One or more white dots erased by. before ed. counting in some. Head light green S. horn smelling. 6th stage June 10.
