Probably Oligia occipitalis obscurely marked General color black, a median or submedian dorsal reddish line broken anteriorly interrupted by irregular whitish flecks which extend down to the stigma, in a point on seg. 7, and broaden abruptly on seg. 4 and 5 which are absolute Legs, eleven abruptly branched with a contrasting white spot on outer side an underlength lateral whitish line contrasting is, clear black above, Stigm. Blacks. Legs' Prolegs dull whitish to black hands. Head black is, whitish mottling a few black set. tubercles in front of hands. Head small from rather slender small clavus in region 9 3/4th legs Tapering rapidly above & head. Davies So far as much more mottling a grey appearance. Hindwings pale pin Kellet pt. Sep 28. New York, Cocoon in white wood. Chryso March in house
