Tuesday Aur. 23 Was in such a cramped place last night that I could not sleep. Sat up and watched the fire and roused the camp up at 5.15'. We had some hot breakfast and got into our smoke dried clothes. Went back up to the open spur and then Sumpah let us go into the jungle instead of showing us the trail. Finally found the trail and we climbed up to about 7000? and at 10 turned back to camp. I found another fine and chewy repenter. We had some cold lunch and packed up and at 11.45 I started for home. Had but little rain on the way back and the trail was the best we ever had. I did almost no collecting and got into Thian at 3.30. Had my bath, then a chicken dinner, then bologna and I settle up finances and then we all wrote up our notes by candle light. I notice a change in the Coleman's attitude
