Hygrophyllum Hilaeus riae: 5-6 mm, cracked, surface coarse, not visible. Coastally extreme margin when old, hair brown to chestnut; thick, distichously arranged, white, 3 mm wide, 8 mm tall. Smooth; whole very hygrophanous, no ring H. m. Joseph, Oxychilus, 2300 m.: Dodge & Goerger 7-6-55
