Hygrophorus Pileus flat, 5-6 mm., cracked, surface moist, not viscid, smooth, coarsely striate margin when old, hair brown to chaetura drab; gills thick, distant, slightly decurrent, white; stipe 2 mm wide, 5 mm tall concolor,, smooth; whole very hygrophanous, no ring San José, Gmayabillos, 2300 m., Dodge & Goerger 7-6-36
