Running into the Millions
WERE CLOSED THROUGH
THIS OFFICE DURING 1928
AMONG THESE WERE:
A sale of the Orpheum Theater property
on O'Farrell between Powell and Stockton
streets, to Charles Schlessinger.
The 9-story, Class A, Liebes Building, on
Post street near Grant Avenue, sold to
Walter H. Sullivan.
The 7-story, Class A Office Building, for-
merly the Pacific Union Club holding at the
northwest corner of Stockton and Post streets,
also sold to Walter H. Sullivan.
These were the three principal properties
involved in sales made through this office
totaling more than $3,000,000.
In addition, the second largest long term
lease ever made in San Francisco was nego-
tiated. The entire block bounded by Van
Ness avenue, Geary, Post and Franklin streets,
was leased to the Texas Oil Company for 99
years. Rentals involved for the period aggre-
gate in excess of $4,000,000.
